A major update has arrived in Lunia NextGen, introducing expanded progression systems, a new endgame stage, and significant improvements to rebirth, crafting, and UI customization.

Leveling & Rebirth Changes

The maximum character level has been increased from 99 to 150, extending long-term progression.

Rebirth behavior has been standardized, returning players to level 99 when rebirthing beyond the intended cap.

A new rebirth aura system has been introduced through Parvati, allowing players to temporarily gain powerful stat bonuses during each rebirth cycle.

Devildoom Laboratory

Devildoom Laboratory has been introduced as a multi-phase endgame stage combining puzzles, minigames, and boss encounters.

The stage consists of 11 phases, each with unique mechanics and restrictions. Players are given unlimited lives, but each phase enforces its own death limits. Resurrection Stones cannot be used.

Six bosses are planned, with content unlocking progressively over time. Secret objectives within the stage provide access to additional encounters.

Players can unlock the stage through Parvati and receive daily entry keys.

Hardcore Mode

A Hardcore Mode has been added for players seeking a higher difficulty challenge.

In this mode:

  •  Deaths are not allowed
  •  Character stats are significantly reduced
  •  Rewards are doubled upon completion

Hardcore Mode supports solo and group play.

Achievements

72 new achievements have been added, focused on Devildoom Laboratory completion, difficulty challenges, and party configurations.

Achievement notifications are now color-coded based on their value, with certain messages limited to players within the same stage.

New Systems & Features

A new universal skill, Duty Action, has been added to support stage-specific mechanics.

New crafting options allow progression from Halonic I to Halonic II gear, alongside additional catalysts and regrades available through Shaw.

A rebirth reset item has been introduced, allowing players to fully reset progression while retaining achievements and items.

UI Improvements

Players can now freely reposition UI elements, with saved layouts across sessions.

Damage display can be customized, including font size, transparency, and filtering options.

Menu navigation has been improved, consolidating options into the ESC menu for better accessibility.

Bug Fixes & Balance Adjustments

Multiple issues have been resolved, including:

  •  Corrected monster health and difficulty scaling across various stages
  •  Fixed quest visibility and navigation inconsistencies
  •  Improved achievement tracking and display accuracy
  •  Adjusted drop rates for Myth content
  •  Removed redundant quests and excess system messages

Additional fixes improve overall stability, progression clarity, and gameplay consistency.

This update establishes Devildoom Laboratory as a cornerstone of Lunia NextGen’s endgame, delivering a structured and modernized progression experience.
