A new endgame stage, Tower of Torment, has been added to Lunia NextGen. Challenge up to 70 floors with a party of up to four players and earn powerful new rewards as you progress.

To unlock Tower of Torment, players must first clear Floor 70 of Tower of Suffering.

Relative Damage Fix

An issue carried over from earlier implementations where “relative damage” scaled incorrectly has been resolved.

Previously, relative damage scaled from Normal Attack → Skill Attack Multipliers → Critical Damage, resulting in exponential damage output. This caused unintended scaling when combined with buffs, set effects, and high multipliers.

This has been corrected. Relative damage now scales only from:
  •  Normal Attack
  •  Critical Strike Damage

Skill Attack multipliers no longer affect relative damage, eliminating unintended double-scaling and bringing damage calculations in line with expected balance.

Changes to Invincibility

Invincibility frames on Dexterity-based classes have been adjusted.
These have been converted into Immunity to Immobilization within the NextGen skill system, reducing excessive survivability while preserving utility.

Devildoom Arena Checkpoints

A new checkpoint system has been added for solo runs in Devildoom Arena.

If you begin from Floor 1 and fail during your run, you will receive a checkpoint item based on your progress. These checkpoints allow a single retry starting from a later floor.

Checkpoints are granted at the following milestones:

  •  Floor 6–10 → Restart from Floor 5
  •  Floor 11–15 → Restart from Floor 10
  •  Floor 16–20 → Restart from Floor 15
  •  Floor 21–25 → Restart from Floor 20
  •  Floor 26–30 → Restart from Floor 25

Only the highest eligible checkpoint is granted upon failure, and each checkpoint can be used once.

Runs that utilize checkpoints are not eligible for rankings, but still qualify for achievements and rewards.

Prepare your party and push your limits—Tower of Torment introduces a new benchmark for progression in Lunia NextGen.
