Patch Notes: [Version 4.8.0] - Latency Adjustments

Engine Fixes

  • Various adjustments have been made to improve overall latency and FPS.
  • Fixed an issue where the damage meter was double or triple counting damage.
  • Fixed an issue where damage numbers were not displayed when a hit would kill a monster.
  • Applied a temporary fix for an issue where EXP from monster kills was not being displayed. EXP gained will now appear beneath your character, under your guild name (e.g. EXP +123.5M).

Character Changes

  • Gaon: True Lightning Leap and Lightning Leap have been returned to damage immunity.
  • Krieg: Fire Crush and True Fire Crush have been returned to damage immunity.
  • Sieg: Infinite Meteor Sword has been returned to damage immunity.
  • Ralph: Hurricane Surge Punch and True Hurricane Surge Punch have been returned to damage immunity.

Engine Changes

A new damage type has been introduced to the game.

A previous adjustment attempted to reduce invincibility frames across several characters to address scenarios in Devildoom Laboratory. However, this caused unintended side effects across other areas of the game. These changes have now been reverted.

It is important to clarify that "invincibility" is a blanket term. There are two distinct states:

  • INVINCIBLE: Immune to all damage types, including the newly added type.
  • IMMUNE: Immune to specific predefined damage types: Fire, Water, Ice, Lightning, Land, Wind, Poison, Light, Curse, Physical, and Independence.

With the new damage type, certain boss attacks can now bypass traditional IMMUNE states, allowing for more controlled encounter design.

Boss Adjustments

  • Lancer (Devildoom Laboratory)
  • Dr. Vexwell (Devildoom Laboratory)
  • Parvati (Devildoom Laboratory)

These bosses now utilize the new damage type in select attacks.

Buffs such as Lv.75 skills, Light Shield, and Dark Shield grant INVINCIBLE or DIVINESHIELD, protecting against all damage types.

Parvati Adjustment

  • Swiping attack no longer creates large-area earthquakes.
  • A safe zone has been added behind her.
  • The frontal attack is now significantly more lethal.

Correções do Sistema

  • Vários ajustes foram realizados para melhorar a latência e o FPS.
  • Corrigido um problema onde o medidor de dano contava o dano duas ou três vezes.
  • Corrigido um problema onde os números de dano não eram exibidos quando o golpe eliminava o monstro.
  • Aplicada uma correção temporária para um problema onde a EXP ao derrotar monstros não era exibida. A EXP agora será mostrada abaixo do personagem, sob o nome da guilda (ex.: EXP +123.5M).

Alterações do Sistema

Um novo tipo de dano foi adicionado ao jogo.

Uma alteração anterior tentou reduzir os quadros de invencibilidade de vários personagens para lidar com situações no Devildoom Laboratory. No entanto, isso causou efeitos colaterais em outras áreas do jogo. Essas mudanças foram revertidas.

É importante destacar que "invencibilidade" é um termo genérico. Existem dois estados distintos:

  • INVENCÍVEL: Imune a todos os tipos de dano, incluindo o novo tipo de dano.
  • IMUNE: Imune a tipos específicos de dano: Fogo, Água, Gelo, Relâmpago, Terra, Vento, Veneno, Luz, Maldição, Físico e Independente.

Com o novo tipo de dano, alguns ataques de chefes agora podem ignorar imunidades tradicionais, permitindo um controle mais preciso no design dos combates.

Ajustes de Chefes

  • Lancer (Devildoom Laboratory)
  • Dr. Vexwell (Devildoom Laboratory)
  • Parvati (Devildoom Laboratory)

Esses chefes agora utilizam o novo tipo de dano em ataques específicos.

Buffs como habilidades de Nv.75, Light Shield e Dark Shield concedem INVENCÍVEL ou DIVINESHIELD, protegendo contra todos os tipos de dano.

Parvati

  • O ataque de varredura não cria mais terremotos em uma grande área.
  • Agora existe uma zona segura atrás dela.
  • A área frontal do ataque foi tornada significativamente mais letal.
